Guaraní Language
Guaraní is a Tupian language. It is the national language of Paraguay. Guaraní is also the name of a South American Indian group, the majority of whom live in Paraguay.
Guaraní is also one of Paraguay’s two official languages, along with Spanish. Although Spanish is also an official language, more Paraguayans speak Guaraní than Spanish.
Guaraní was one of the languages used by the first European traders to communicate with South American Indians.
