Tetum Language
Tetum belongs to the Central Malayo-Polynesian group of the Austronesian family of languages. It is spoken on the island of Timor.
Tetum is spoken primarily by the Tetum people, a group indigenous to the narrow central area of Timor. The Tetum people number more than 300,000.
