Bambara Language
Bambara is part of the Manding language group, which is part of the Mandé language group. It is spoken in the nation of Mali by as many as six million people. It is also spoken more sparsely in the countries of Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, and Gambia. Bambara serves as both the primary language of the ethnic group Bambara, as well as an interethnic national language of Mali.
Bambara has numerous dialects, including Beledugu, Ganadugu, San, Segou, Sikasso, Somono, and Wasulu.
