Mandinka Language
Mandinka (also called Mandingo) is a member of the Manding branch from the Niger-Congo language family. It is the official language of Senegal, and is also spoken in Gambia and Guinea-Bissau. There are more than 1.2 million Mandinka speakers.
Mandinka is closely related to the languages of Jahanka, Kalanke, Kassonke, Malinke, and Mori.
