Tigrigna Language
Tigrinya (also spelled Tigrigna, also called Tigray, or Tigrai) is a Semitic language. It is spoken by the Tigray people located in northern Ethiopia and central Eritrea.
There are more than 6 million Tigrinya speakers worldwide.
Tigrinya is closely related to both the Tigré language and Ge’ez, the ancient language of Ethiopia.
