Tibetan Language
Tibetan is a Tibetic (or Bodic) language that belongs to the Tibeto-Burman division from the Sino-Tibetan language family. It is spoken in China, and in the regions of Tibet, Qinghai, and Sichuan.
There are approximately 1.2 million Tibetan speakers worldwide.
Tibetan is written in an Indian script, whose present form has been in use since the 9th century.
