Chamoro Language
Chamorro (called “Chamoru” by Chamorro speakers) is an Austronesian (Malayo-Polynesian) language. It is spoken by the native Chamorro people of Guam. The Chamorro people number more than 51,000.
While English is Guam’s official language, Chamorro is still widely spoken throughout the country.
